Meet Kacey Roach, the creative force behind True Chiefs, a Native-owned and woman-owned screen-printing and graphic design business that's been serving communities across the United States for nearly a decade.

Growing up in Midwest City, Oklahoma, Kacey Roach has always been an artist at heart. From her earliest memories of drawing and creating, she knew that art would play a central role in her life. But it wasn't until later that she discovered how to transform that passion into a thriving business that serves her community and honors her heritage.
From Passion to Business
Kacey's journey into screen-printing began as a teenager when she worked at a local screen-printing shop. There, she learned the fundamentals of the craft and fell in love with the process. After earning her degree in Fine Arts and Graphic Design and briefly working in the corporate world, she knew her true calling was to start her own business.
In 2017, True Chiefs was born. Starting small in a little warehouse with basic equipment, Kacey began creating and selling her own designs at local craft shows. What began as a DIY passion project has evolved into a full-service screen-printing and graphic design business, offering custom apparel and products for individuals, organizations, and businesses throughout the country.
More Than Just Printing

True Chiefs specializes in bringing clients' visions to life with quality and care. Whether it's shirts for special events, merchandise for brands, or logos for companies, each project is approached with intention and pride. For Kacey, the work goes beyond printing—it's about creating meaningful connections and representing her community with authenticity.
"I love the freedom to create and the opportunity to work directly with people, especially within my Indigenous community," Kacey shares. As a woman-owned screen-printing shop—a rarity in the industry—she takes special pride in collaborating with Native-owned businesses, organizations, and nonprofits across the nation.
Carrying Forward Caddo Identity
Being a Caddo artist means everything to Kacey. It's about carrying forward tradition, creativity, and resilience while sharing culture in a modern way. Through her work, she reminds us that Indigenous stories and identity aren't confined to the past—they live vibrantly in the present and future through the art we create today.
The support from Native communities has been a driving force behind True Chiefs' success. "It's such a special thing to have Natives supporting Natives," Kacey reflects. "The people, tribes, and organizations that find my business are so passionate about working with Native-owned businesses, and it brings me so much joy and honor to see our Indigenous people uplifting one another."
Here to Serve Our Community
Kacey wants the Caddo Nation to know that True Chiefs is here to serve—whether it's helping with cultural events, creating business merchandise, or bringing personal projects to life. Every order is unique, and every piece is worn, shared, and carried with pride.
After nearly ten years in business, each year has brought new learning experiences and opportunities to grow. Much of Kacey's knowledge has been self-taught, gained through hands-on experience, investing in equipment, and continuously expanding the services she offers.
